Kyriad Rouen Nord - Mont Saint Aignan

Stayed here for 2 nights as an emergency place to stay as I had mechanical problems on my bike. The staff were absolutely superb. The receptionist was delightful and very helpful making recommendations on where to visit and how to travel on the excellent, cheap and frequent bus service into town. Car park was very large and felt secure too. There is a big retail park next door which was very handy too. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows and bedding superb. A good hot shower and large towels were very much appreciated. Rouen is a spectacular town and 2 days was really insufficient to appreciate everything it has to offer. Would I stay here again ? Most definitely YES !

A basic hotel. The bedroom has quite an old feel in parts, but clean and nicely decorated. The communal areas were fresh and more modern and the restaurant served very good food. All of the staff were helpful.

My car had broken down and my travel insurance had put me into a luxury hotel in central Rouen without explaining why or telling me that there would be a considerable sum of money that I would have to pay. I asked to be moved and they placed me at BritHotel Mont St Aignon. My first impression was that the place was run down - the garden was untidy and full of weeds. Then I saw the notices which explained that it was a wild flower garden specifically to attract butterflies and bees ... the penny dropped. I learned soon afterwards that the hotel was on the edge of a piece of parkland, la Vatine, which I went to explore. I fell in love with the location. Next door to the hotel is a hypermarket where I was able to buy some extra clothes - I had only been travelling with suffient for a single night's stop. My bed was comfortable, my dinner in the restaurant was good, the self-service breakfast was also good. I was treated with respect and kindness by the staff. Je vais retourner ...

Check in was great, and all the staff very friendly. We had a very nice meal (my wife’s veggie dish was amazing) , and the breakfast was pretty good too. Do try squeezing you own oranges. The place is a little dated in places but they are in the middle of renovations, which did not affect us in any way. Could do with some usb charging points. We asked for some more pillows, which they took from an unoccupied room and they smelt a little musky. They were very comfortable though, as was the bed. We found the location was good, quiet and easy to find. Over all good, and good value for money. I shall stay here again on our next trip.

Good clean and comfortable rooms. Hot and cold choices at the buffet breakfast and an adequate dinner with a varied choice

Works fine for an overnight stay whilst travelling down France. The rooms have been redecorated recently. The hotel has recently changed from Kyriad to Brit but staff and restaurant menu have remained the same.

Staff were friendly, rooms repainted and better mechanical ventilation installed post COVID. The thing we noticed most was an improvement in the quality of the food in the restaurant.
